Founded by solar industry engineers, Skilancer Solar emerged to solve a critical operational loophole: solar panels in high-irradiation regions (like Rajasthan, Gujarat, and the Middle East) lose a massive share of their daily generation capacity due to fine dust soiling. Traditional manual washing is water-wasteful and highly cost-inefficient.
Our engineering team spent years testing and calibrating brushes, materials, and telemetry links in active desert environments. Today, we are proud to support over 1.5+ GW of solar capacity with fully automated, waterless robotic systems that recover generation yield by up to 15%–18% without using a drop of water.

Neeraj Kumar is an IIT Jodhpur alumnus and solar engineering leader with over a decade of hands-on experience across utility-scale solar arrays. Recognizing that severe soiling losses and water scarcity were crippling solar plant yields across India and global desert belts, Neeraj co-founded Skilancer Solar to revolutionize solar Operations & Maintenance (O&M).
Under Neeraj’s leadership, Skilancer Solar has manufactured and deployed close to 2,500+ waterless cleaning robots across 14+ states, secured key state government MoUs (such as with the Government of Andhra Pradesh), and raised VC backing from Venture Catalysts and Alfa Ventures. Neeraj also steers sister AI energy ventures Solset.ai and Solset.in.
